A little less than a month has passed since the Earthquake in Japan.
I've met with the CJCP program coordinator and she says we're all just waiting for the government to lift the travel advisory and for the University, i.e. UBC to give us the thumbs up so I can go to Japan in the summer for co-op like I am supposed to. What happens if the government never lifts the travel advisory? Could I still go? There are so many things I need to worry about too. Japan is in the midst of recovering and one of the biggest concern is with food supply, water and radiation contamination. What will happen if I still go?
Is my fate going to be grounded in Vancouver for another summer?
